Art Description

Painting: Oil, oxidations and bitumen on Steel.

Part of the series "Metallgesichte(r)": faces painted with oil colours and oxidations (sometimes with bitumen, as this one) on steel, playing on the limit between abstract (the oxidations) and figurative (the faces).

The small plates are hung with 4 little copper pipes (on the 4 corners of the back side) containing magnets, so that they can be adjusted depending on nails on the wall and at the same time they create a space between the painting itself and wall.
