Welcome to the world of El Glinoer. Currently using mostly acrylics. Highly sensitive to light, colour, temperature and wind. Inspired by life's mysteries, daily wonders, fury, passion, intricate detail and classic paperweights. El has been drawing and painting ever since she can remember, and will undoubtedly continue to make art for the rest of her life. Her paintings of vases, exploding flowers, light, water and windscapes transcend the physical surface, luring us into a state of delightful sensations. These highly energetic works are delicate and yet robust living formations. They demonstrate confident detail and render colour mixing effortless. Inspired by millefiori, flying birds, her new environment of sea and open skies, she continues to transcend her intuitive compositions, constantly vibrating, shimmering, shifting and changing. El Glinoer was born in the desert and lived in London most of her life. Following the death of her father and her two very old cats, in 2017, she decided to pack everything in and move to Brighton. Being a prolific artist, she is quietly pursuing her untimely love of painting, taking us on a journey of intrigue and delight.
