About The Artwork
This is a painting from my series "Earthworks". All works from this series are pictorial stories about planet Earth. This particular story has three main characters: Maize plant in the front, modern bicycle prototype and extinct mammal in the back - Thylacine. There are also side characters like miniature of modern painting on the right and little field in the background. I compare cultural and natural extinction in this painting.
