Art Description

Painting: Acrylic on Canvas.

A moth posses a subtle, sophisticated quality as compared to the flamboyant butterfly. I got the opportunity to view different kinds of moths in my recent residency in Vagamon, Kerala and I was taken aback by the subtle beauty of a moth which has always been overpowered by the extravagant display of a butterfly.
* Due to the irregular shape of the painting, I have left about inch and half of black surrounding all the way through.
