About The Artwork
In this work, I am using thread on wood. I consider the thread to be a primary element in art, as it is the first basic material of the canvas, so, I let the thread to create the artwork. With clean straight lines the threads deliver forms, light and shadow. Furthermore a steel reflecting hemisphere is reproducing the whole surrounding space including the spectator making him in this way part of the artwork.

Born in Paphos (Cyprus) on February 1983. He studied painting in the Academy of fine arts “Pietro Vannucci” in Perugia-Italy where he graduated in 2007 with honors. In 2006 he won the annual “Adelmo Maribelli” prize, from the academy of fine arts of Perugia.He had 3 solo exhibitions in Cyprus and participated in many exhibitions in Cyprus and Internationaly.
