About The Artwork

"You're hungry but you know you shouldn't, will you take the apple? God is watching you." This painting is what got me into oils on canvas. The eye was so realistic in this, it felt like someone was staring at me the whole time I was painting it. I wanted to make a piece that combined landscape and abstract to create a beautiful surreal painting. I wanted the sun/eye to represent God's ever watchful eye on the world. The tears are meant to represent the betrayal of humans and their nature to sin. I wanted to leave the apple up to the viewer's choice. I figured that you should be able to make your own decision. I can't guarantee how long until the original painting will sell, so don't let it slip away. Perfect for any home or office, works well with most decor. Thank you for viewing my piece. I will start prints as soon as I can upload a better picture to represent my work.

I've lived quite the interesting life, I've had many near-death experiences and I feel like this has really impacted my art the most. I've been caught in undercurrents and rip tides, I've escaped a submerged vehicle, and I've even been shot in the face leaving me blind in my right eye. Every time I came out with a new found respect for life. I've always been artistically inclined but I hadn't really got into painting until 2012 and ever since I've just been crazy about painting. I am very devoted to my paintings, I paint mostly abstract, surreal, and landscape paintings. I like to leave my pieces up to the viewers own perspective. I feel as though paintings should evoke emotion from your own life, as you should have your own perspective on things. My paintings always have their own meaning to me but that doesn't mean they can't be special to someone else as well. I like to use both hot and cold colors because it leaves great contrast, it looks great, and they just go so good when put together. I usually paint with my fiance, we like to sit together and work on paintings side by side. I'd definitely say she's what drives me to succeed in whatever I do. I love getting my art out there, there's nothing better than spreading joy. I hope you enjoy what I have to offer and maybe if something I have pleases your eye, you can buy a piece or two. All purchases are much appreciated, and I want to personally thank you for taking the time out of your day to view my art.
