About The Artwork

‘Fade into View’ (Waverley Art Prize Australia 2018, Highly Commended) touches on the ambiguous nature of dreams, beauty and memories, of the unseen and unheard and the continual complexities of societal pressures. I hope to both stimulate and give voice to my ideas in a unique way. I believe that art should deal with challenging concepts that enrich public discourse and hope that as my work evolves it will speak many languages. I have used Oil on Arches Huile Paper because it gives the work a soft look which adds to its quality.
