ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Artistic details: High dive - free fall. I intended to show the excitement of these few seconds one falls free. Those few seconds one is flying. The few seconds one stays in the limbo between life and death, heaven and earth. Technical details: The canvas is stretched on a massive wooden frame about 2 inches deep. The silver parts are attached in classic gold plating technique with composition aluminium leaves. The painting is carried out with acrylic colors. The aluminium coated background has a very slight and delicate texture. Important Notice: Please be aware that the entire Background consists of Aluminium leaves of the same kind. The light and somber parts are due to the lighting! The colours of the acrylic painting as well can differ to a certain degree due to digitalisation.
