My watercolour art is created with pure and simple brushstrokes to aid viewers in arriving at their own interpretations. The idea originated from my studies in life and calligraphy painting as well as from the abstract design required by my profession as a jewelry designer and master goldsmith. I applied these methods when creating the stage design for the ballet piece "MEN and WOMEN" (Oldenburgisches Staatsheater),and this was subsequently described by the NWZ (a German newspaper) as bold and fitting.

I'M ALEXANDRA TELGMANN, a contemporary fine arts painter and master goldsmith. “THE NATURE ELEMENT OF WATER IN ALL ITS BEAUTY, POWER, ELEGANCE AND ADAPTABLE IS MY SOURCE OF INSPIRATION” Alexandra’s work specializes in the natural interaction between the female body and the element of water. The deep connection between the artist and the sea is visible in many of Alexandra's paintings. For her, the sea is a decelerating place of power that creates inner peace and at the same time reflects states of consciousness of one's own life. This intention always flows into her work.
