About The Artwork
Farmer is a painting done in the the tradicional "Ponto de Arraiolos". A portuguese needlework rug that comes from the middle ages. Is still done today with carefull and experienced hands in the interior of Portugal. My ideia was to join this rich and profound tradition with the new ages, and the pixel code. Represents tha known cursor of the computer. Is done with portuguese 100% wool carefully aplied on jute. Goes in a roll.
