The winter months have always prompted me to find my warm and cozy place, from which I can gaze at the piling snow. It is cold outside, most of the day is dark and gloomy, only the snow seems to glow and create some abstract subspaces. The person is locked in a warm place and surrounded by warm light. The feeling is one of purity and calm, of a moment suitable for reflection. Coziness is inside that person, who is a cosmos with its own forces and laws, imagination has no limits.

My name is Stoyan Zikov, I was born on June 17, 1985 in Sofia, Bulgaria. Producing art is a necessity in my life, but I see this as a scientific process where I am a researcher seeking answers and testing different "theorems". I work in the fields of sculpture, painting and drawing. Each of these techniques allows me to delve deeper and go further in my search. Beside as an artist, I work as a production designer for various cinema projects and as a curator of exhibitions and festivals. I try to do everything I can to create aesthetic and visual value, and only when I do so do I feel satisfied.
