In "Deconstruction and the Work of Art, Visual Arts and Their Critique in Contemporary French Thought", Martta Heikkilä shows that the deconstructionist notions of art are still influential in the discourses of contemporary art, in which artworks proliferate and the concept of “work” is open-ended and expanding. Reinterpreting Symbolism and Meaning of Historical artworks that often carry specific cultural, religious, and societal meanings. Deconstructivism allows modern artists to reinterpret these symbols and narratives, offering new perspectives and contemporary relevance that can involve subverting the original intent. It has become increasingly difficult for contemporary artists to find their distinctive innovative voice as a result of the widening of the definition of art, thanks in part to surrealists like Marcel Duchamp (1887-1968) and the multiple disciplines that their work crossed. As much as it's a tool for revolutionizing our world, art today serves as a language for exchanging ideas and messages about it. To discover new, innovative possibilities for my artistic work, I use the practice of deconstructing and reconstructing my process. Theory of postmodern deconstruction, developed by philosopher Jacques Derrida, is an investigation into the ephemeral and fleeting nature of identity, both personal and collective, that is created/embedded/limited by our culture's metanarrative language. About original artwork: Inspired by "Femme au Chapeau Noir", 1880 Gustave Jean Jacquet, Born in Paris on 25 May 1846. He was one of the pupils of Bouguereau. Consequently, Jacquet's early work was influenced by that of Bouguereau. In 1875 Jacquet was made "Chevalier de la Légion d'honneur" in 1879.
