ABOUT THE ARTWORK
As I was researching for this painting, I remember sitting in this field where wild flowers grew happily in the tall grass. It was only an unkept large park near my daughter’s school, but as an artist, you take inspiration wherever it comes from. I spent hours there looking at the flowers from all angles, taking photographs and trying to capture their essence. As a child I spent many hours in the fields of grandparents day dreaming. I guess this is what fields of flowers are there for. To help us day dream.
