About The Artwork
This painting is not flat. The beautiful curved surface is created with traditional canvas stretcher techniques, but is not flat. The continuous brush strokes go from top to bottom in a very clean stroke, individual brush marks are imperceptible. The super high gloss reflects light and shows the unique shape of the surface. The painting has as many as 40 layers of color and each applied with a little extra clinging to the very edges. There is a paint build up on all edges and this shows process very nicely. This is a one of a kind painting style, being a true blend of sculpture and painting.
