ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I have always been very passionate about horses, riding and our beautiful countryside here in the UK. I remember really enjoying going out for a hack on the first warm days of spring and riding past all the fields of lavender and rape seed. First Hack of Spring is based on those memories and features a group of fun characters from the local riding stables going out on a hack in the countryside. Acrylic and pencil on deep edged box canvas. Varnished for protection.
