The sky, I paint first, using a palette knife and sculpting the white oil paint, as I pull it across the canvas to form texture and cloud-like marks. Predominantly painting in oils, spray paints and hand-mixed pigments. Her focus on textures and marks create deep and visually tactile paintings. Based in North Devon, England, Georgia is surrounded by seascape inspiration and works out of an old barn conversion her and her partner completed early 2016. The white-washed studio has a forever changing view of the sea, rivers and distant sand dunes.
