About The Artwork

I was inspired to create the painting "Flamingos in the Clouds" by sunset clouds. Gold and pink color are joined together in the sky. I saw these pink birds in the sunset cloud. The flamingo bird is a symbol of the fulfillment of your wishes. Also, the name flamingo comes from the Latin word "flamma", which means"flame". And thus, the symbolism of the flamingo includes a fiery aspect and echoes the symbolism of the Phoenix bird, which burns in fire and is reborn from the ashes. The flamingo becomes a symbol of resilience and rebirth. ▪︎ oil on canvas ▪︎ size 60x90 cm ≈ 23,62x35,43", depth 1,5 cm≈0.59" (without frame) ▪︎ covered with a protective varnish to protect against dust and sunlight ▪︎ signed on the back, also comes with a certificate of authenticity.

My name is Alina Ol. I'm an aspiring artist. I draw clouds and minimalistic landscapes. The driving force of my paintings is an enduring power and interest in nature. For a modern person living in a metropolis to show the beauty and power of nature. To remind you of the preservation of our world. Understanding the fragile and elusive beauty of nature. Everything changes quickly. Using a painting technique, my work explores the essence of nature through expressive color, brightness, and shape. Inspired by Rene Magritte and the Russian artist Kuindzhi, taking exaggerated shades and boldly simplifying or distorting forms, I want to impress the viewer. Each layer, horizontal brushstrokes of paint reveals an inner and emotional intensity. My work is a constant search for the best way to interpret the ideas I have about myself and the world I live in. I don't limit myself to one style or concept. I seek to stop, preserve, and record the movement of nature as a separate event. Inspiration and ideas change. Every picture I create is simultaneously a continuation of the past, where I came from, and what I learned, as well as a preview of the future, where I am going. If the viewer stops for a moment to look at and reflect on the work that I have created, then I have succeeded in my work. Working on paintings is a record of my experiences, memory, and emotional reactions to objects I once saw. Look at the sky more often!
