“I continue to express the spaces within memories through oil painting on canvas. I am not chasing the visible surface of the world, but rather the physical essence of spaces where various relationships overlap and persist. These spaces beyond are depicted in abstraction, stemming from an understanding. The impressions of time and space left within me are restructured on a canvas through overlapping colors. The light gracefully flowing in time and space enables us to perceive the world. I seek to capture on the canvas the hidden facets of the world intertwined with us, bending and overlapping along with the light. To me, the canvas containing this space, which makes one forget about time, is akin to an empty yet full glass bottle.”
