Flight of a Bumblebee Painting

'Tis better to be looked over than overlooked. After finishing college in industrial design, I felt lost. I took up a marketing job, but its rigid structure stifled my creativity. To cope, I turned to painting. Starting with gouache, then oil, and finally watercolours, I found myself creating larger and larger works, now never smaller than A1. At college, I developed a passion for 19th-century fashion and wrote about how socio-economics shaped trends. Later, I became fascinated by French literature and art history, particularly the works of Matisse, Zverev, and Maupassant. This sparked my love for vintage and antiques, and I spent four years perfecting the decor of my new home. My work focuses on colour’s emotional impact, using small contrasting strokes to capture the world’s complexity. It’s a balance between chaotic vibrancy and structured design—like a crystal chandelier, dazzling yet ordered. In a world overflowing with information, I cherish the details: sun glints, subtle nuances, the smallest metamorphosis. I also sew my own clothes, striving to be a fashion designer. Though I dream of blue garments, I ended up making everything in red this year. Life is full of paradoxes—let's explore them together!
