ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is one of my new works from the "burlap" series. Still the recognizable women, but I worked with completely different materials. I love the rough structure of burlap and the sturdy natural look. For these works I used new jute, but also used. I glued this to a canvas. You can still faintly see the repair pieces and the letters. Furthermore, I made the design of the painting with Indian ink. This must be correct immediately because correction is not possible with this material. The finish is done with lacquer and spray paint.
