About The Artwork

Overheard the phrase that no one wonders if the rose suffers when it blooms inspired me to create stories about female initiations and changes that lead them to awareness and fullness. They can be painful and incomprehensible as they mature into their essence, often without the support of the female lineage. The flower was once a symbol of female beauty, but too often is understood purely physically, and women have tortured their bodies for centuries to conform to current standards. In art, the image of a woman has come a long way, from the object of worship as an image of fertility and abundance, the representation of ancient divinity, through various forms of idealization, to contemporary distortions and abuses. In my paintings I try to bring it to life. I am not talking about physical beauty, but I want the corporeality in these pictures to be very present, tangible, fleshy, sensual and symbolic at the same time. I want to tell you about the beauty of female fullness, which is beyond canons. Through my corporeality, I touch deeply hidden taboos, tame them, show naturalness, restore dignity with my own bows and appreciation of the female temple. I lay down my symbolic flowers on her altar. It is a story about a goddess, about her birth, life, body and everyday life. I advise against her intimate meeting with her. There are truly alchemical processes in the woman, thanks to which the future is created out of substances and processes in her body. The womb becomes a place where the soul descends, a unique apartment where it spends its first moments. Recognizes emotions, feeling the world through a woman's body and its emotionality. There he gets to know the world in which he will live. The thoughts and beliefs of a woman who hosts a new being in her body shape a new life in her image, thus creating a future. The female womb is a portal, a gateway to this dimension. It is the most important place of power in our world.
