Alex Bel (Alexander Belaichuk) was born in 1962 in Riga, the capital of Latvia. Since his early childhood he has shown the ability to draw. Artistic education: art in the scenography studio of the Riga Film Studio. The Rīga Art School named after Mara Mujžniece. (1987) During these years, the artist is actively painting in different styles and exhibits his works at numerous student exhibitions, which are held with great success. In more mature creative years, the artist develops his own style of impressionism, which emphasizes his author's, expressiveness and vivid emotionality. All paintings of the master are filled with philosophy, meaning and movement of spiritual power. In each paintings, not just objects, but a story are depicted. The lyrical romanticism of the artist's paintings is based on a subtle taste and is intended for the clever viewer , who possesses this delicate taste, who understands the style and beauty of the movement. Flight of fantasy and the ability of the artist to show ordinary objects in an unusual form - excite in the viewer positive emotions and high spirituality in the moral aspect. ​The artist's paintings are in private collections in his native Latvia, where the artist mostly creates his own canvases. And also in private collections in Russia, Israel, the USA, Canada,Belarus, Ukraine, France, Great Britain, Germany, Italy and the Czech Republic.
