Luiz Henrique da Rocha Azevedo was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1955. From an early age he developed a love of drawing. He developed an appreciation for oil painting and worked with figurative painting, systematically learning and maturing his technique. At this point, his attention centred on the Flemish school and Impressionist painting. He is currently progressing with technical maturity and a thematic identification that seeks, at the same time, individual identification and collective appreciation. In this sense, he is concerned with lines, tonal values and the harmony of colours in the composition of each work. He has participated in art exhibitions, with a solo show in 2006.
