Nikolaenko Oleg Vladimirovich was born in Petropavlovsk, Kazakhstan in 1964. He graduated from his hometown`s art school in 1981 and entered the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Omsk Pedagogical Institute. The next year he joined army and continued his studies after returning in 1989. From 1987 till 2000 Oleg Nikolaenko worked at legendary art community «Pushkinskaya, 10». He began to actively participate in the artistic life of Leningrad. 1989 — together with Yury Potapov and Rostislav Kurnosov Nikolaenko organized the "Snow" art group. 2000 — became member of the St. Petersburg`s Union of Artists, section of monumental painting. 2001 — together with Yuri Potapov opened the "Artists` Mansard" gallery. Nikolaenko`s works are kept in the Art Museum in Tomsk, in the Omsk Museum of Fine Arts, in the Omsk Museum of Local Lore, in the Ekaterinburg Museum of Fine Arts, in the Novosibirsk Picture Gallery, in private collections of Russia and other countries.
