ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Aristoteles Onassis, from "Flowriental" series. SOLD. An homage to the vidid, flamboyant and ever so moving life of a man with plenty of successes and failures. Flowrientals show life. More precisely, they show "life lines" (or better: life curves and turns of life) of a personality - in an abstract sense. Life flows on every day. With all wishes, goals, tasks, duties and surprises. But the way life plays out, it also directs and redirects. Sometimes we direct our lives, sometimes life directs us. From time to time a new orientation is necessary. This is how life flows, orienting itself. Every painting has four different basic colors for the curves and loops, which represent this very life story of a personality. All curves are for themselves, do not cross, run side by side. These multiple “life paths” are meant to reflect the different realities of life that we live in our lives with the world. There is our innermost, most intimate life with all the secrets and peculiarities that only we know. Then, there is personal life, which is life with family, friends - an inner circle. Added to this is the social/professional life in which we create and represent something for and with society. Finally, there is "public" life, in which we live in complete anonymity or openness to the world. All of these ways of life and habitats are our only life, but they often develop independently of each other.

SHIPPING AND RETURNS
Delivery Time:

Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

I am unknown, unbound, uncontrolled. I began to create artworks a few years ago as a form of self-reflective therapy, to find a way to deal with my life and destiny. All of what I do is purely motivated in showing the world and myself the complexities, simplicities, cruelties and greatnesses of life. I go by Moto Collins, which is an homage to my early adolescent days, where I experimented with digital creativity on Amiga / Atari computers, although my todays works are purely analog. I am an almost 50 years old divorced single dad, living, working and creating all by myself in my little studio at Lake Starnberg, where I was born and raised. I am passionate about creativity, contemporary abstract art and modern design in general, yet I dedicated decades of my life and experience to my job as a tech and agile consultant for digital/tech companies.
