Butterflies have always surprised me with their beauty, lightness and airiness. Butterflies know how to reincarnate more than once in their short life. I painted this work in oil on canvas. I hope the feeling of sunset and the beauty of butterfly wings will make your interior unique and fill it with sun, beauty and color. This work was painted in oil on canvas in 2007.Svetlana Romanova was fascinated by the work of the Russian writer Vladimir Nabokov, who collected a collection of butterflies. The artist has works depicting butterflies in ceramics, porcelain and painting. Many works were exhibited at exhibitions. The overflow of the wings of butterflies is written textured. The painting has the texture of strokes of oil paint over the entire surface. Therefore, transportation in a roll is not recommended, unfortunately. Stretch the canvas on a high-quality wooden stretcher. The painting has no frame.

Romanova Svetlana - Art She was born and lives in St. Petersburg -Russia Svetlana began to draw since childhood. At the age of 12 she entered the City Art School of St. Petersburg, and at the age of 14 she began to study at the Leningrad Art College named V.A.Serov, now an college named after Roerich, at the painting and teaching department. In 2000, Svetlana graduated from the Stieglitz Art and Industry Academy of Stieglitz with the Department of Ceramics and Glass and for a long time created stained-glass windows for interiors and decorative objects made of ceramics and porcelain. But painting has always been and remains a favorite pastime of the artist. Romanova Svetlana is a participant in many group exhibitions in Russia and abroad. Solo exhibitions of the artist also took place. Since 2003, Svetlana Romanova is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia
