Fooled By Randomness Painting

This work was inspired by the work of Anni Albers and computer generated images using Processing. The process to create the image was to use a few shapes in the computer and then with Processing generate the composition. After this I transferred the image onto the painting surface by tracing it and then painted it by hand with acrylic paint. I did not want the computer clean look so I was not too precious with the perfection of the lines and the painted surface. After the painted was finished, I distressed all the painting with sandpaper to show the different undercoat layers and to add hand generated randomness to a already random piece.
