Ford GT40 Gulf 24 Hours of Le Mans 1969 (Jackie Oliver / Jacky Ickx) The Ford GT40 is a high-performance endurance racing car. The Mk I, Mk II, and Mk III variants were designed and built in England based upon the British Lola Mk6. Only the Mk IV model was designed and built in the United States. Keith Jack "Jackie" Oliver is a British former Formula One driver and team-owner from England. He became known as the founder of the Arrows team as well as a racing driver, although during his driving career he won both the 24 Hours of Le Mans race and the Can-Am championship. The driving force behind my artwork is an enduring interest in Cars, sports and luxury goods. During my development as an artist, I created my own style that has developed over the years. Recent works are somewhat freer, although attention to detail is still important to me. Some works fall more under street art, others may fall under pop art. Paint with mixed techniques from oil paint to acrylic. Always on linen canvas. The original canvases are for sale on time and are only made in a very exclusive and low edition of art prints. Al reproductions are limited , personal signed and numbered. Besides working in Formula 1, I also like to capture classic race cars on canvas.
