Forest Stone Part of the ‘Broken Signal’ series exhibited at Café’ Frida in Prague and Art Prague 16. Forest Stone is part of a series of paintings directly inspired by found photographs of ex Soviet Union nuclear testing sites in Kazakhstan. Here the painter depicts these sites as relicts from a remote civilisation, as ancient ruins of a remote future. In this particular painting nature has reclaimed the stone, which is being swallowed by a dense forest.
