Having put down roots in the Shuswap Lake area of BC, Canada over 30 years ago, Lynn has had a busy art career and raised her son in this beautiful rural area. Primarily a painter, Lynn is skilled in many different mediums and has inspired creative souls (young and old) through teaching and showing her art in many gallery settings. Pre-Covid, Lynn took a hiatus from professional art to take on the hard and rewarding role of caretaking for her elderly mother. So very much has happened since….. she's BACK, and lighting creative sparks wherever she goes.. Her love of creativity is evident and contagious. Lynn is also an active environmentalist, and looks forward to a new age of less fossil fuels and a new respect for the Earth. If you know her independent activist spirit, one may be better able to see the sacred …and the silly that emanate from her heart and her art, often evoking emotion in a primal way. Infused with a natural sense of humor, her work is contemplative and bold, playful, and occasionally profound. Lynn’s signature style is recognizable in her vivid acrylic paintings as well as her remarkably unique sculptural pieces.
