Fragments (II) Painting

Painting has always been an integral part of my life, though my path to becoming a professional artist was anything but conventional. I have graduated in International Law and Marketing and Communications, spending years immersed in the advertising industry. Yet, in 2013, I fully embraced my artistic calling. For me, creating art is an act of connection — to my inner world, to emotions, and to the interplay of color and composition. I am deeply drawn to simplicity and seek to bring together minimalism and emotion in my work. My process is guided by the concept of duality: softness and rawness, control and spontaneity, movement and stillness. These contrasts shape my creative process, unfolding intuitively on the canvas. My paintings exist between two poles: airy, minimalist pastel works and more dynamic, expressive compositions. Each series reflects a different aspect of my artistic and emotional landscape. I do not begin with sketches but rather with an idea — a vision of a color palette or a felt sense of composition. From there, the process becomes instinctive, allowing the work to evolve naturally. Influenced by Abstract Expressionism, Minimalism, and Postminimalism, I seek a delicate balance in my art — a space where energy and tranquility coexist. I hope my paintings invite viewers to pause, reflect, and experience the quiet emotional depth that simplicity can hold.
