About The Artwork

The fresh and concurrently intensive color palette fills the painting with energy, whereas the white and black colors develop the bright paints and balance the canvas. I was using the color accents in this pictorial piece to turn the color into inspiration. The contrastive color relations add the dynamics to the reserved geometric composition of the painting, which enhances the piece’s strength. The texture I managed to achieve adds up the volume to the painting and makes it still more expressive, meanwhile the technique of paint layering creates an impression of transparency and intensifies the piece’s depth. I am thrilled about how the layers interact with each other, which helps to track the working process that I would like to share with the viewer. This painting represents the pure abstraction, with no reference to any objects, and is a part of the series of paintings entitled "Freedom of thought" Ready to hang, the sides of the painting are also painted so that the painting does not have to be framed. Painted with professional top-quality paint. Signature on the backside. Please note that I try to upload images that match the actual colors in the painting. However, there may be slight differences due to your individual settings on your monitor / phone. If need, I can send you more photos of the painting.

“Art is a synchronizer of feelings; however, it rarely works precisely.” Born in Crimea and immigrated to Czech Republic. Olga has majored in graphical design. She has also practiced commercial illustration for a while. Nevertheless, lately she has become fascinated by pictorial art. “I apply the paint on canvas and it fits perfectly, and I rejoice in the process. I find the color inspiring and the search for the right composition soothing. At the moment I am feeling this is exactly where I belong. When working I contemplate about emotional freedom and explore the self-acceptance. I call on the viewer to base one’s judgement exclusively on one’s own perception, to listen to oneself and to discover the world around by one’s own feelings and senses. This may boost the interpretation and inner analysis when collaborating with pictorial art.” Graphical design education has had a deep impact on her visual language, her art is bright, full of contrast and dynamics, it aims at catching the viewer’s attention. However, it was her working experience as an illustrator that has helped to form the most cautious approach towards each piece of art. Olga constructs the composition out of spontaneous emotional decisions, complementing them with well-balanced obligatory tools. She freely dives in creating the canvas to reflect her inner experiences. “It reminds me of life as I see it, and for me it is a sequence of chances, impulses, but also carefully pre-planned decisions. I believe that everyone has the choice. I believe in fate, nonetheless I am convinced that there is a chance to change it. Every time I choose the tint or move the brush, I make my decision. And I base it on my emotions and experience. My emotions inspire me and show the way for my paintings.” Olga’s art is comprised of many layers, she enjoys creating the texture with the help of sand and mediums to achieve a bigger volume and a deeper expressiveness in her pieces. Besides, Olga is always willing to experiment and discover new techniques. She dives in the process, since the moment of creation as well as the result are both equally important to her. “For me painting is essential, I have always painted and I do not know how NOT to paint. What thrills me about the process? I guess, I just like to leave my prints, that’s true. I watch my 3-year-old daughter painting and that seems so easy. She just finds the ways to express herself.
