About The Artwork

Bachelors in Fine Arts of the Arts Institute - UNESP - São Paulo, David Magila's work is strongly based on a graphic component, but also the space is increasingly more decisive in the contruction of his personal poetic, both inmural interventions and in tridimentional pieces. The city in entropic process and the somehow ruined atmosphere of an ordinary and predatory architecture find echo in the formalization built by the artist. Therefore, panoramas based on fragility and on a sensation of dismantling are emphasized by David's plastic tools, in witch the fusion on the characteristics of each one of the media strengthen the reiterated melancholy that runs through a big part of his works.
