ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting was done in two different styles. The cloud and sky were done using paint brushes and done in in the classical glazing method of applying thin layers of paint one on top of the other having subsequent layers show, through. The water and shore were made with painting knives and have a chunky, abstract application of color. I enjoy both techniques very much and I am pleased with the results of combining the two. This painting is wired and ready to hang.The sides are painted, so there is no need to frame. It has been protectively sealed with clear varnish. It is signed and dated.
