The origin for this project came from the simple realization that everything has a beginning and an end. Something comes to life, grows, develops and finds the way to its final resolution. Art and painting represent for me transformation and healing, a strong relationship between the body and the subconscious. The general philosophy of my approach exhibits echoes of existentialism, action and body art of the 1960s and a stream of conscious response to mark making. In my work I prioritize exploiting the moment, the intensity of the inertia, of the unprepared, paint itself becoming a powerful material, a texture, for expressing the tectonic movement, the motion of the energy on the canvas.             With my work as visual artist, I choose to explore a variety of themes, including human psychology, death and the subconscious , as well female empowerment, sexuality and the body.  In my abstract figurative compositions, the body is escaping itself, becoming an outer energy, fighting against gravity. I want to challenge the transition between different realities triggered by the psychic and the subconscious, as I investigate the relationship between colour, brush work and treatment of surface.
