ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Colorful and vivid still life which I painted while my 4 years living in Thailand. Despite of using asian vegetables, thai eggplants and japanese mini pumpkin, I left a sign of my russian soul in there, pattern on fabric is russian folk craft pattern. Shared violet color of eggplants and pattern on fabric makes illusion of disappearing eggplants. One of my favorite piece!

I was born in Ulyanovsk, Russia. In 2003 I moved to Moscow following my dream to be a student of Stroganov Moscow Academy of art and Industry . While studing in Stroganov academy I made money by painting airbrush on motorcycle and cars. In 2014 my husband and I moved to Thailand where I started to paint vivid still lifes. Through a time my still lifes evolved from decorative to still lifes which make sense. Vegetables and fruits are just shapes to show an idea, it's always something behind the cover. Now I am back to Russia and focusing on a human body.
