GEM CHAOS Painting

“Gem Chaos” Chaos is a part of the life of our Universe, planet, country and our personal lives, it even has a formula in physic, Xt+1=Kxt(1-x1) looks more complicated than it is. Simply things go like we want them until the next time when they don't until eventually things build on themselves then it breaks and starts over again. A graph of this formula and theory looks like a line that loops back on itself with two loops like butterfly wings. “Gem Chaos” explores and examines that part of our existence in an abstract format. This is the second of my abstract series “Ding Bang Dang” still arranging forms like a pinball game an opportunity to make an imaginary game of our destiny. I am working in Acrylic paint because I can create layers of paint to give depth to the colors and I enjoy working in layers on a canvas until the whole image reveals itself to me. My working title was “Countdown” it served me like a prompt. I sketched out the numbers 1 through 10 in a creative entanglement of forms and from that I started to see what was revealed from my life experience and those thoughts like plaque attach themselves to my artwork. I am searching for my own language in a creatively noisy environment. My hope is that my work stimulates imaginative thoughts from your own life and finds some esthetic comfort and appreciation of my efforts. My next painting in this vain is called “StarSpangle Bangger.”
