About The Artwork

ABOUT THE WORK In this vibrant artwork, a human story unfolds, resonating deep within the soul. It's as if life itself has been captured on the canvas, a rich kaleidoscope of emotions and experiences that come to life in every detail. Each stroke of the brush is a story unto itself, telling of longing and joy, of dreams and memories. They are like poems on the canvas, where the essence of life is encapsulated. Yet, it also opens a window to the human soul, an invitation to look deeper and explore the mysteries of our existence. It encourages us to discover our own experiences and emotions through the work, taking us on the journey of the artist. Through the scorching desert, where an occasional pool emerges, altering reality into something entirely different. This artwork is like a mirror reflecting the depths of our emotional world, reminding us that life itself is a masterpiece, full of colors, shapes, and emotions waiting to be discovered. "Ginger" is one piece of work from 2011. This peace has been showing in many exhibitions in Germany and outside. Signature: These single, original piece is hand signed by Dikla Stern.

Dikla Stern (*1972 in Tel Aviv) is an artist, communication scientist, and lecturer, living and working in Berlin, Germany. The exploration of society in the context of the charged dichotomy between power and oppression, law and freedom, is sometimes discreetly, but sometimes also entirely directly, a constant in the works of DIKLA STERN. These works describe societal phenomena that are perceived as “disturbed.” Contemporary themes, issues and events are subjected to artistic reflection and examined in terms of the collective influence of media, politics and history on the individual. She has received exhibition support from various institutions, including the Adrienne and Otmar Hornbach Foundation, Dieter-Kissel Foundation, and Werner-Deschauer Foundation. Her works have been exhibited at venues such as the CICA Museum in South Korea, the German Hygiene Museum in Dresden, the Potemka Gallery in Leipzig, and the 5th European Month of Photography (EmoP) in Berlin. They have also been featured in film and television, including productions such as “Altes Land” (ZDF) and “Fucking Berlin” (Netflix). Works are in the possession of private collectors, museums and companies, internationally.
