ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The woman is startled by someone entering the bathroom. She was either thinking about what to wear to dinner or how to cover up the murder she just committed. My hope is the viewer resinates in some form with the woman in the painting and perhaps creates their own narrative. I begin and end most paintings with acrylic although recently l have incorporated oil into the flesh tones and facial features.
