Medium: Oil on Canvas Size: 120x120 cm Year: 2019 Materials: High-quality oil paints on canvas, signed certificate of authenticity. Description: This large oil painting, titled "Game Over", features a deflated life buoy in the shape of a flamingo, resting in a surreal, red-toned environment. The buoy, once full of life and joy, now lies collapsed, its cheerful design in stark contrast with its current state of disuse. The strong red hues and shadows create a dramatic and contemplative atmosphere, invoking a sense of loss, transition, or the end of a carefree moment. Through its striking use of symbolism, the painting invites viewers to reflect on themes of fragility, the passage of time, and the fleeting nature of joy. The playfulness of the flamingo buoy, now deflated, suggests a deeper narrative—perhaps about the end of innocence or the conclusion of a phase in life. Part of my exploration of light and darkness, this piece combines surrealism with everyday objects to create a haunting yet engaging visual experience. The oil on canvas medium allows for rich, textured brushstrokes, enhancing the mood and the emotional resonance of the artwork.

The beginning of everything is sensation. Pure, uncluttered feeling allows you to ask yourself the right questions, which are fundamental to my art. My eyes see reality, my thoughts shape experience, and my heart is like a compass directing my attention. Drawing is my method of experiencing the world. Pencil and paper enable me to be alone with the world, to converse with it, and to strive to understand it. Drawings, sketches, and drafts become a form of dialogue. On paper, I capture various images from real life that aid me in my subsequent work with canvas and oil, where disparate and contrasting elements converge. For me, this is a quest for the true essence of the world, beyond its three-dimensional space. From my very first picture, I attempted to unravel the complexities of reality. I pondered: Who am I, and who are these people around me? Answering such questions requires understanding the context. Through the prism of my work, I perceived not only people but also the world they inhabit. This environment was a product shaped by society, while simultaneously shaping the social world itself.
