ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My missionary work in Cambodia 2007 provided me with the momentum to have a clear purpose and vision for my works. Before the Cambodian propagation, I mainly created works that contained my stories. After Cambodia, all of my works turned into something to express God. What I have seen and felt in the preaching ground and every person I met in Cambodia became the source of my works. The looks in their eyes, smiles, gazes and feelings were transferred onto my canvas.

One day she discovered a book, ‘Art & Soul’ by Hilary Brand and Adrienne Chaplin and was caught by the following sentences: ‘There is enough reason for us to take caution when we apply the adjective, ‘creative.’ We should not forget that it is only God who can create something out of ‘Nothing.’ she thinks this is a righteous attitude for a Christian artist who lives in today’s world. As all the talents they have had are not theirs, they should be used as a means to reveal God. And it has become the single most important purpose of my works.
