In her constructive works Mara Ruehl deals with specific themes in individual works and/or very small series of works.
The intellectual engagement with abstract themes such as "Magnetic fields that influence our existence", "The restructuring of material goods" or "Achieving inner balance" led her to create very constructivist works dominated by forms.
Typical for Ruehl's painting style, these works are also based on a highly differentiated sequence of constructive and destructive processes. Here, however, the colour elements that constitute the picture are strictly constructed.
