About The Artwork

Portrait of General Grant, who went on to become President Grant after the Civil War. The work is made from new outdoor signage material (has never been outside), oil, marker, resin, pastels and acrylic paint. Protected by a professional artist varnish and ready to hang with a wire hanger. Signed and dated on the back, along with a letter of authenticity. This portrait and that of General Lee were completed together. Both portraits contain a rough look/background as war is a messy business.
