About The Artwork

Jacqui Miller creates art that portrays racial equality and the beauty of ethnicity. She paints on traditionally stretched canvas in an illustrative style, using liquid acrylic paints in multiple un-textured layers, and bold black outlines to produce her vivid results. "I created this piece to illustrate the future of the polar caps if we don't make improvements on global warming. The 3 women depict the indigenous people of the Arctic. The Ghosts are the wildlife who will be extinct if we don't reverse the alarming trend of climate change. The ghosts of both land and sea have light brush strokes of silver that produces a shimmering sheer effect depending on the light and the angle at which the painting is viewed. The classic cartoon characters we know and love also show their concern and confusion over the degrading of the Arctic." Jacqui Miller

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

Jacqui Miller strives to create art that bears witness to racial equality and the beauty of ethnicities. Her subjects are inspired by diverse cultures and current events. Her style is neo-pop; painted in acrylics on canvas using richly saturated colors, outlined with bold black lines, and often accented with metallics. What makes her work standout is her trademark depiction of the portrait being split straight down the middle. One half is painted to represent Caucasians, the other half is painted to represent people of color. It’s this uncomplicated aesthetic that quite clearly, and effectively, illustrates the equality of races, that one half is not superior to the other. “My family is very diverse, we love and respect each other’s differences, and see each other as equals. There’s no posturing for the seat at the head of the table, and we’re all willing to take the garbage out. If we can do it, everyone can do it!”
