Ghosts Painting

Artist Statement: "I use acrylic medium and paint in the abstract realism style, using the canvas as a pictorial space to express my obsessions with the different psychological states of the mind; particularly those of the diminished consciousness that often drifts between dream and reality, to tell a story from within those deep and often dark places. I find a delicate, soft, and beautiful existence in the solitary shadows that are hidden in our worlds. Whether they are secrets that are hidden, forgotten, or abandoned, I express these silent tableaus from the mind and elsewhere in my work. Hopefully they will touch another soul who views my artwork and take them to a place where they may have gone through sentiments of sorrow, hope, loneliness, euphoria, silence, serenity, chaos or darkness."_Andrea Ng
