About The Artwork
This work is a divertissement of a still life. It is a continuation of my series of bottles. I worked the line with charcoal after applying an acrylic bottom and casein glue to the entire canvas, leaving no spaces that is something very characteristic in my work. I got the circular shapes of plates and containers that almost danced what the title of Tango de Cristal suggested. The canvas is stretched on a wooden frame and artwork is ready to hang. Framing is not required. It is signed on the front and on the back and is delivered with a certificate of authenticity.

Annabel Andrews was born in the Isle of Wight in 1940 now lives and works in El Escorial near Madrid Spain, where the colour, light and volumes of the mountains inspire her work. As also her friendship with the late Spanish artists Pablo Palazuelo and Jose Guerrero. By preparing her own canvases with home made casein glue base and zinc white the work is light and luminous ready for applying acrylic colours.
