About The Artwork
My Zodiac Goddesses collection is a very special collection for me. It is really close to my heart because it’s an expression of my personal growth The collection is made up by 12 original portraits each one inspired on a zodiac sign; but the truth is they all have the exact same message and purpose. Which is to remember you can always change your perspective and step away from fear and view life and yourself with love This portrait is inspired by Sagittarius. Like most the pieces it has writing on the background layer. The writing was important to me because it added depth to the pieces, but also because the collection holds a literal positive message “at its roots” The collection IS an expression of my most positive thoughts; it is a message of encouragement and a symbol of self love that I want to remind us that there’s beauty in everything and everyone ! I see my pieces as affirmations that help make a visual collection to a positive mindset! I´m a self taught artist, I have painted and created all of my life, I honestly can't remember a time in my life were I didn't! I had my first solo art show in 2004 and I've been pursuing art solely and formally since 2017; since then I've come to terms about being self taught, and I feel proud and happy with my progress and with the quality of my work. I paint because creating is where I'm most true to myself. It is a great expression of self love where I lose my fears and I create from a place of calmness and self awareness.
