Part of my series on Urban Perspectives.
The painting comes in a black wood box frame measuring 84x54x6cm
I use fabric transfers of my own photographs to construct an interesting composition of connecting viewpoints of places on canvas. By layering these transfer images and incorporating them with my usual style of figurative painting, I aim to create an exciting medley of movement and interesting viewpoints , which evoke a sense of recognition of the space, location and atmosphere of a particular place.

UK artist. Exhibited in UK, Switzerland, USA, China, France, Italy, Sweden, France, Bratislava and India. My work explores the complex relationships, transient nature and our interactions within the shared spaces around us. Examining and incorporating current human conditions affecting us in todays society, creates a narrative within the work and by expressing a personal response to co-occupying the space communicates a common sense of displacement, a question of belonging, purpose and relevance within our continually changing urban environments. Initial drawing, photographic and observational studies, enable me to abstract the essence of form, space and colour for my paintings and the main medium, oil paint, communicates more desirably the sense of continual movement and fluidity of the form within my work. A limited colour pallet and painterly mark-making helps to evoke a stronger suggestion of mood and place, encouraging the viewer to personally explore and interpret the painting further.
