About The Artwork
I became inspired by 400 year old sycamore trees I discovered in Viareggio, Italy that have a human presence and human anatomical features. This attraction grew into a series of anthropomorphic tree paintings and drawings of old growth trees I discovered in my travels. I made an entire "World Tree Series" of evocative trees I have found around the world. I hope viewers will be excited and intrigued by a new vision that unites nature and humanity in a tangible visual way.
