Forgotten Faces is a series exploring historical portraits of women. Thought images of these women's faces have remained to modern day, in many cases we've lost any sense of who these women were, because of a male centric study of history. Golden Age focuses on the wife of a nobel man during the Dutch golden age. This painting is full of light, using chunky drips, matte and glossy areas setting each other off of metallic highlights, really changing the way you experience the painting in different lights, from different angles in person.
